Cold headed / Fored Wire Parts

We produce cold headed highly precise parts on cam-controlled machines using all kinds of cold formability materials of your choice.

Inovan offers a low cost production due to a low material consumption and the usage of cold headed parts instead of turning parts. We offer the free selection of materials and surfaces and are flexible concerning lot sizes. The scope range includes embossings, free design of the tip, knurlings  and gradings  as well as parts with or without forged head.

The applications in which you find our forged parts are nearly unlimited. Examples amongst others are: Contact pins, Rivets, Screws, Axes, Pistons, Needles. The typical scope of applications is  the Automotive sector,  building technology, furniture, electro-and electronic sector and many others.

Bandoliered pins

Bandoliered pins are mounted on coils with pre defined spacings. They are manufactured according to your requirements and can be provided with all established surface treatments.

Bandoliered pins  are the perfect solution for highly automated processing and assembling. We offer galvanic plating for example with: Cu, Ni, Sn, Au, Ag or SnPb . Furthermore the plating can be operated in a selective process to save precious metal. Our portfolio contains  round- and square wire with and without embossings,  cut and thermally cracked tips.

Bandoliered pins find application in the automotive and electro/electronic sector to mount standardized terminals/connectors.

Wire-bended parts

Bended parts are produced  as bulk by cutting and bending of round and square wire on universal  bending machines. Further handling/machining like embossing, cutting, tip machining, slide grinding, thermal treatment, surface treatment, diagnostic inspection, cleaning to highest requirements and packaging is possible.

Inovan stands for highest precision and quality in high volume production. Due to minimum material consumption, optimized setup-times we reach a high level of efficiency. We offer several galvanic  surface treatments for example with Cu, Ni, Sn, Au, Ag or SnPb.

Bended parts made from wire are versatile, they can be applied as electric conductor, spring element or mechanical connector. They can be found in countless applications in the automotive, electro and electronic industry.

Turning parts

Our pins are produced with special turning machines and cold drawn wire.

Inovan can offer a low-cost production by using coiled wire instead of  rod material. Additionally the usage of cold drawn wire with highest precision (tolerance class h8) is possible. We can offer a free choice of material and surface, and can also provied a flexible quantity starting from medium up to high volume lot sizes.

Our turned parts find manifold applications in the  automotive, electro- and electronic industry and many other segments.

Continuous wires

By forming a predetermined breaking point  we produce contact pins from wire. The continuous wires  are delivered on reels in many variations for the  automotive, electro- and electronic industry. Those parts are produced on our self –designed and developed machines.

Our continuous wires are a  cost – efficient solution  for pins  with a tip on both sides, with and without embossing – especially for high speed assembling.  Inovan offers a high flexibility in production and machining, the choice out of round, square or flat wire, plain- or pre-plated wire is possible. For optimized mounting and assembling you can choice out of  several standard embossings or your individual customer – specific  form.

Continuous wires find application in many  areas of the electro- and electronic industry, amongst others in the automotive and industrial sector, building technology or in the sector of alternative energy.

Thermally cracked pins

Thermally cracked pins  are produced  as bulk ware on universal bending machines. Further handling/machining like embossing, cutting, tip machining, slide grinding, thermal treatment, surface treatment, diagnostic inspection, cleaning to highest requirements and packaging is possible.

With our modern equipment and very low material consumption  and setup time we are working  with high efficiency. Hereby we guarantee highest precision and quality during the implementation. Inovan offers galvanic surface treatment amongst others with: Cu, Ni, Sn, Au, Ag or SnPb. Additionally  we offer delivery in every required  conditioning, even in customer-provided packaging.

Thermally cracked pins are used as electrical connectors. They find application in the automotive and the electro-and electronic industry.

Battery Pins

We produce battery pins on our self-developed and designed machines in every form and design requested in our cold heading  method.

Our machines are especially equipped for the production of battery pins. We  exclusively use wires made from brass alloy with specific purity.  For post  purity treatment, we use our  especially designed processes for battery pins. INOVAN gives you the full service and state-of the –art know-how  on battery pins. Additionally we offer surface treatment on our self -developed automated lines.

Battery pins are used as minus collectors in  consumer Alkali batteries. Our battery pins find application in batteries of several high volume battery producers worldwide.

Contact Pins

Contact pins are made from coil wire in several  layouts.  They are produced on self-developed and designed machines. Contact pins are applied most frequently in the automotive and the electro – and electronic industry.

Due to minimum material consumption versus  turning parts and the usage of cold drawn wires of highest precision, INOVAN can guarantee a high quality on a very good cost level. You are free in choice of material and surface, a high degree of design flexibility and  also  a free choice of lot sizes from medium to high volumes. With our long –term experience we would be pleased to give you  assistance and support for your next project.
