Visit of district chief executive Karl Roeckinger

In March 2015, Inovan was pleased to receive a visit of district chief executive Karl Roeckinger and mayor of Birkenfeld Mr. Martin Steiner. In a series of visits to top companies (top in their respective sectors), district chief executive Roeckinger spends some time to get a picture of economically strong companies in Birkenfeld. Amongst the visitors were also Enzkreis area economy representative Mrs Kerstin Monasso and Mrs Karoline Schmidt of Enzkreis area job center.

During the Inovan factory tour each separate area of operation was presented: contact technology, materials technology, surface technology, stamping and moulding technology.

"I am impressed by the diversity of products and the ideas behind them”, Mr Roeckinger told Inovan chief executive officer Dr. Thomas Hoer.

With its unique production depth, Inovan is able to serve its customers in a wide range of products and inspires its customers technologically on the highest level with its precision parts.

During the visit, the high proportion of apprentices in Inovan was highlighted. Inovan offers apprenticeships in 10 different professions and tries to inspire young people for example for the surface technology, in order to be able to deploy qualified employees for its highly technological production processes in the future.

Dr. Hoer is optimistic to reach the staked goals for the development of Inovan's plants in Mexico and China in short term. In the next three years the turnover in China is supposed to be doubled. The turnover of Inovan Germany with its approx. 600 employees in Birkenfeld was up to 124 Mio. Euros in 2014.

We would like to thank district chief executive Karl Roeckinger and the mayor of Birkenfeld Mr. Martin Steiner and also Kerstin Monasso and Karoline Schmidt for their visit at Inovan.
